Coverage by Tara and Tracy
LA Comic Con took place on September 26-28th at the LA Convention Center. This is our first time back in quite a few years. It has really grown and expanded into various halls that can be a bit confusing if you don't go the LA convention center a lot. One of the downfalls is that parking is really bad once the convention center parking lots are full. There is gridlock and the last resort is 3rd party parking lots that charge a lot more than convention center parking.
Besides that inconvenience the show was great. They had different vendors/exhibitors that you don't see at Wondercon or Comic Con. Kopiko, Maruchan, Amazon, Horror Hall, Dave & Busters, Akiba Station etc... One of the reasons we decided to attend was because Refreshment Toy was exhibiting at the show. They are a soft vinyl toy company from Japan. Also one of our favorite So Cal exhibitors Smelly Panda was also there. Thank you LACC for inviting us. We had a great time and enjoyed covering the show. Hopefully we will see you in 2026. As of this posting, the dates for 2026 have not been announced yet.
